How long does tiling take?

Bathroom tiling typically takes 3-5 days depending on the size of the space and the type of tile. This includes surface preparation, tiling and grouting.

Can you tile over old tiles?

In some cases yes, if the old tiles are firmly attached and the surface is level. In most cases, however, we recommend removing the old tiles to ensure proper waterproofing and an even surface.

What is the best tile size for a bathroom?

Larger tiles (e.g. 30x60 cm or 60x60 cm) are trendy and easy to maintain thanks to fewer grout lines. In a small space, mosaic tiles also work well and add attractive detail. We are happy to help with the selection.

Is waterproofing included in the tiling?

Yes, professional waterproofing is a mandatory part of wet room tiling. We use high-quality waterproofing products and comply with building regulations. The waterproofing is inspected before tiling.

Can I choose the tiles myself?

What grout colour do you recommend?

We recommend epoxy grout for wet rooms, which is moisture-resistant and inhibits mould growth. The grout colour is chosen to match the tile shade - darker grout hides dirt, lighter grout makes the space feel larger.

Does the tiling come with a warranty?

Yes, our tiling work comes with a 2-year warranty. The warranty covers installation defects and waterproofing leaks. If you notice any problems during the warranty period, we will repair them free of charge.

How is the floor slope created?

The floor is sloped towards the floor drain using levelling compound before tiling. The correct gradient is approximately 1:100, so that water drains effectively and does not pool on the floor. This is an important part of professional tiling.
