These terms and conditions define the conditions governing the use of services offered by Kevyt Remppa, as well as the rights and obligations of the contracting parties.

These terms and conditions apply to the renovation services provided by COM House Oy (Business ID 3337707-4). The service provider is COM House Oy, Juvantasku 4, 02920 Espoo.
By ordering a service, the customer accepts these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are valid until further notice, and the service provider reserves the right to amend them by publishing the changes on its website.
Services may be ordered via the website, by telephone or by email. An order becomes binding once the customer has accepted the quotation and the service provider has confirmed the order.
Before work commences, a written contract shall be drawn up specifying the work to be performed, the schedule, the price and other essential terms. The customer undertakes to grant the service provider access to the work site at the agreed times.
The service provider reserves the right to decline an order if the work falls outside its area of expertise or if its execution would be unsafe or impracticable.
All prices include value added tax (VAT 25.5%) unless otherwise stated. Prices are valid on the date of the quotation and may change without prior notice.
Payment terms are agreed in the written contract. Typically, an advance payment of 30-50% of the total price is required, with the balance due upon completion and acceptance of the work. In the event of late payment, we shall charge penalty interest in accordance with the Finnish Interest Act.
If the scope of work changes at the customer's request or due to unforeseen circumstances, the pricing may be revised. Significant additional work shall always be agreed upon with the customer in advance.
The service provider undertakes to carry out all work professionally and in accordance with good building practice. We use high-quality materials and experienced workforce.
Warranty: We provide a 2-year warranty on the quality of work from the date of completion. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear or misuse. For materials, we comply with the manufacturers' warranty terms.
The service provider holds a valid liability insurance policy that covers any damage to the customer's property that may result from the work. Insurance details will be provided upon request.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the work site is suitable for the commencement of work and that the necessary permits have been obtained. The customer is also responsible for protecting their property within the work area.
The service provider shall not be liable for damage caused by:
The service provider's liability for compensation shall be limited to the invoiced value of the project in question, unless the damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
All content on the service provider's website, including texts, images, logos and graphics, is protected by copyright law. Use of the content without permission is prohibited.
The service provider has the right to use project photographs for marketing and communication purposes, unless the customer expressly prohibits this in writing.
The customer is obliged to inspect the quality of the work and to report any defects and shortcomings within a reasonable time, but no later than 14 days after the completion of the work.
Complaints must be made in writing by email or letter. The service provider undertakes to rectify defective work within a reasonable time at no additional cost to the customer, provided that the defect was caused by the service provider's actions.
If rectification is not possible or reasonable, the customer shall be entitled to a price reduction or rescission of the contract in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
The customer may cancel an order before the commencement of work without cancellation charges, provided that the cancellation is made no later than 7 days before the agreed start date.
If the cancellation occurs later or work has already commenced, the customer shall be liable to compensate the service provider for work already performed, materials ordered and other costs incurred.
The service provider has the right to suspend work if the customer fails to meet their payment obligations or other obligations agreed in the contract.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to fulfil its obligations if such failure is due to an impediment beyond the party's control which the party could not reasonably be expected to avoid or overcome.
Force majeure events may include, for example, war, insurrection, civil unrest, fire, flood, governmental action, pandemics or other similar extraordinary and unforeseeable events.
These terms and conditions and their interpretation shall be governed by the laws of Finland, excluding its conflict of laws provisions.
For consumer contracts, the primary dispute resolution body is the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. Disputes arising with business customers shall be resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
We always endeavour to resolve any disagreements with the customer primarily through constructive negotiation and cooperation.
