- Room size and floor area: The larger the floor area, the more materials and labour hours are needed. A small room (10–20 m²) is more affordable than a full apartment floor renovation (40–80 m²).
- Flooring material choice: Laminate and vinyl are more affordable options, while parquet and high-quality vinyl planks cost more. Material quality and brand significantly affect the price.
- Scope and complexity of work: Old floor demolition, subfloor levelling, moisture protection, and specialist work (e.g. underfloor heating) increase labour hours and material costs. A complex room layout can also raise the price.
- Specialist work and additional requirements: Underfloor heating installation, custom shaping, moisture protection, and sound insulation requirements increase the total project cost. Careful finishing and trim installation also add to the workload.
- Schedule urgency: A normal schedule (1–2 weeks from planning to completion) is more affordable than rush jobs. Urgency can affect the price, especially during peak season.
